Episode #115: Designing Your Own Life! Featuring Bill Bloom

“When you step back and think about what's important to you, truly what's important to you. Clarity comes, that's when you get that clarity and that's how you're able to become your own architect.”

It’s easy to feel stuck or feel like there’s no way out of your situation. That life is just something that happens to you, rather than for you, or by you. I believe that most people want to be in good health, experience a sense of well-being or live a satisfied life but not necessarily entirely sure how to get there.

If we find ourselves at a point where life feels hectic, monotonous, or in need of a plan that’s where we need to take control. Taking control of your life is essentially taking ownership of all decisions you make for yourself. You have power to navigate the course of your life path and get to decide what’s good for you and what’s not. You no longer give the authority and power to anyone or any external circumstances to dictate your life. Taking control of your life means living life on your own terms while at the same time recognizing that we don’t have have control over everything that happens to us, we can control how we respond, react and prepare.

Be the person you want to be, and live the life you want by learning how to change your thinking, make lifestyle modifications, and be productive.

“There's nothing stopping you from designing your own life. Nothing. Usually, it's your own inner thoughts. Usually it's your own people around you who hold you back. People who you know, people in the office, friends, family, it could be anyone, maybe all of them. It's okay to fire friends. It's okay to let things go. It's okay to stop bad habits. It just takes time.”
